Climate-Adapt4EOSC at International Data Week 2025 !

From 13 to 16 October, the International Data Week (IDW) is taking place in #Brisbane, bringing together researchers, policymakers, and data professionals from around the world to discuss how data can advance sustainable development and resilience.
#IDW is held every two years and stands as the leading international conference on research data.
It is jointly organised by the International Science Council’s Committee on Data (CODATA), World Data System (hashtag#WDS), and the Research Data Alliance (RDA).
On Tuesday 14 October, Dimitra Panou from Inst. of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, NCSR”Demokritos delivered a virtual presentation as part of Session 6, entitled “The Transformative Role of Data in SDGs and Disaster Resilience.”
Her presentation, “Adapting to Climate Change with Open Science: Experiences from the CLIMATE-ADAPT4EOSC project,” highlighted the project’s contribution to advancing open and #FAIR data practices for climate adaptation.

By applying FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data principles and developing interoperable climate services such as #OPENHIDRA, Just-CURS, and #3SES, Climate-Adapt4EOSC contributes to more effective and equitable climate adaptation strategies across Europe.
