Climate-Adapt4EOSC featured at the EOSC Symposium 2025 !

On 4 November 2025, Thanasis Sfetsos, Project Coordinator of Climate-Adapt4EOSC, presented the project during the Lightning Talks & Demos session of the EOSC Symposium 2025.
Organised by the EOSC Association, with the support of the EOSC Gravity and EOSC Focus projects, this year’s Symposium took place in Brussels from 3 to 5 November 2025. The event gathered key stakeholders from across Europe to discuss progress and future directions in the implementation of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
During his intervention, Thanasis Sfetsos provided an overview of the objectives, structure, and main achievements of Climate-Adapt4EOSC. He highlighted the four common services and tools developed under the project — OPENHIDRA, JustCURS, 3SES, and BDAnalytics — which are designed to enhance access to and interoperability of climate-related data. The presentation also outlined the project’s three core use cases (in Aigaleo, Portugal, and France) and its eight replication use cases that enable the broader adoption of data-driven climate services across Europe.
The session offered a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how Climate-Adapt4EOSC contributes to the EOSC ecosystem by promoting FAIR-compliant, interoperable, and cross-domain data services. Through its activities, the project supports the development of digital infrastructures and tools that foster climate adaptation and resilience across Europe.
