The Fifth Forum of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, will take place on 24 November 2026 in Dublin, Ireland.
As Europe faces growing climate risks, including flooding, severe weather, heatwaves, and biodiversity loss, the Forum will present examples of successful and replicable adaptation measures being applied by regions and cities across Europe. It will showcase innovative tools and approaches developed through Mission Projects to strengthen resilience.
Through interactive workshop sessions, participants will exchange experiences, learn from peers and co-create solutions to challenges affecting their regions and communities. The Forum will offer rich opportunities for networking and collaboration, bringing together stakeholders from across sectors and governance levels to share knowledge and build partnerships.

Pre-Forum programme – 23 November 2026
On the morning of 23 November, site visits will take place to locations around Dublin, offering first-hand insight into the region’s varied initiatives for climate change adaptation and resilience.
In the afternoon, a pre-Forum workshop will bring together members of the Mission’s Community of Practice to exchange experiences, discuss common challenges and opportunities, and identify practical tools and solutions that can be replicated across Europe.
An evening reception will then take place for all participants to connect over food and drinks.
