From 13 to 16 October, the International Data Week (IDW) is taking place in Brisbane, bringing together researchers, policymakers, and data professionals from around the world to discuss how data can advance sustainable development and resilience.
IDW is held every two years and stands as the leading international conference on research data.

It is jointly organised by the International Science Council’s Committee on Data (CODATA), World Data System (WDS), and the Research Data Alliance (RDA).

On Tuesday 14 October, Dimitra Panou from Inst. of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, NCSR”Demokritos”​ NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”​ delivered a virtual presentation as part of Session 6, entitled “The Transformative Role of Data in SDGs and Disaster Resilience.”
